Our Australia Animals-Week 2

Hello everyone its Mandy from Melbourne Zoo back again.  I had emails this week from Tim, Elle and Sam telling me about their trips to your schools and they are all REALLY EXCITED to be visiting you.

I have heard that you will be working in groups to find your information and make up your books.  I think it’s fantastic that you all want to work together to help your class friends with their work.  I was so impressed that I have told all the animals here at the zoo.  Great to hear. 

Because you are working so well together the animals have asked me if I could help you guys out by suggesting some information that you may like to put into your Digital Books.

I find that when I have a big project to do here at the Zoo I get the animals to help me work out a MIND MAP.

MIND MAPS are a special chart that we can use to list ideas or steps that need to be followed to get a job done.

Below is a mind map that I made to use here at the Zoo as an example for your class.

Well, better go and feed the Crocodiles!!!  Hope they aren't too hungry and chase me around the pen again today!!!!  Talk to you all next week.
