This term you will be looking at our fantastic Native Australia animals. Australia is large country full of many different and wonderful animals.  We are excited to be learning more about these animals with your classes.

This lesson we will be introducing three native Australian animals that wanted to travel and learn more about our country.  They will travel between your schools, visiting new areas and learn lots of interesting new things about our country.  So say Hello to:-

Each School class will be creating a digital book that has information and pictures of Elle, Tim and Sam's visit to their town so they can take them home to show their friends what native animals live in different parts of Australia.

We are really excited to be learning about our native friends and hope that we can all have fun and learn some interesting facts along the way.

So, bye till we talk again next week.
Your new friend,

Mandy
P.S My animal keepers asked me to send through the Big 6 problem solving ideas they use when they research the animals they care for.  Ask your teachers if they could print them out and explain how you could use them to help with your project.  It might be a good idea to display them in your class room too.
